Read about this restaurant so decided to try it. First off, there was one other table in dining and yet it took 15 minutes to take our order; then they brought us the wrong sushi. Finally got that fixed and got our soup and salad. The miso soup was good and the salad was light and refreshing. When the main meal came out, it looked horrible. The gyoza were deep fried and hard, the tempura was overcooked and hard, and the chicken teriyaki was way overcooked and spicy. Getting service was almost impossible, and our server kicked my son's chair every time he walked behind him. I was hoping this would be an upgrade from the previous restaurant, Sakanaya, but it definitely wasn't. Then, when we got the bill, they had still charged us for the wrong sushi!! I had ordered Inari sushi, which is bean curd stuffed with rice, instead they brought us Unagi, eel sushi. The whole visit was like a train wreck!! We definitely won't be going back again!!

I got a poke bowl and I really liked it. I would love if they consider adding edamame to it in the future. :) I mainly wanted to review because the wait staff was AWESOME about my gluten allergy; they were incredibly kind, even up to the point that I messed up my own order (I accidentally left fried onion on); I felt so bad and they were so nice about remaking it. I really appreciated their patience with me.

I ordered takeout yesterday for the first time. My total was $75 I got two NY Steak Teppanyaki dinners. When arriving there was no host and there was a couple already waiting to be seated. Took awhile for someone to seat them then took even longer for the host to appear to give us our takeout. When arriving home, the salad was rotten and the lettuce was black, mushy, and gross. The steak was full of fat and just not a quality steak at all. $75 for a disappointing meal.

Do you see the brilliance on your screen? I am not a photographer by any means but I am Sure that if you tried hard you can feel how delectable this was for ME Through pixels alone And so I implore you that in Some day of your life when You think no chef can exude the same brilliance as you in cooking A5 Wagyu that you go ahead and Visit Teppan Tora and order this Resplendency for my Sake If all were mandated to experience this delicacy the world Would be a better place

Teppan Tora absolutely delivered! The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The chefs were professional, polite, and very accommodating throughout our visit. The baked mussels were cooked perfectly — full of flavor and done just right. You can really taste the quality of the fish. Great atmosphere, great service, and an overall fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!
